COURSE DESCRIPTION: By the end of this course, you will be able to; - Explain the history and purpose of Fair Housing Laws
- Identify protected classes under Federal and North Carolina fair housing laws
- Summarize the key principles of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics
- Compare the obligations of the Code of Ethics to legal requirements and state licensing laws
- Explain the enforcement process for ethics violations and the role of ethics complaints, mediation, and arbitration
- Define Pathways to Professionalism and its role in enhancing REALTOR® conduct beyond legal and ethical obligations
