TUITION FEE(S): $50.00 (Members); $65.00 (Non-members)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
At some point in their careers, agents may decide to become a leader. Being a leader of agents can be difficult. Agents look to the Broker-In-Charge (BIC) to provide impactful training, answer their urgent questions, support them when trouble arises, and celebrate when they succeed. In other words, be responsible to shape them into a solid citizen agent who provides lawful guidance to consumers. This is often made more difficult because the BIC rarely receives leadership training. An integral part of leadership are the skills to be an effective communicator. Up-skilled communication from the BIC can be modeled to agents and in turn, modeled to buyers/sellers. In essence, better leaders means better gents, which means better client results. Using the same frameworks/skill sets' presented in Strategic Communication: Powerful Coaching Skills for Agents, this course uses examples that reflect interactions between the BIC and the agent, builds question banks specific to leadership, and introduces conversation structures for impactful communication with the agent.

Note: This class will take place from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM and will follow the Canopy Realtor® Association event, "Broker-in-Charge Mastermind: Do You Have it in Writing? Creating a firm policy manual that boosts firm productivity and increases professionalism while minimizing risk "scheduled from 9:00 AM – 11:30 PM.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Real Estate Agents have a very big job. In addition to the core duties of accounting, care, confidentiality, disclosure, loyalty, and obedience, they must provide a variety of other responsibilities to ensure they are serving their client. Execution of these responsibilities starts with the agent being able to disseminate information impactfully. Unfortunately, this often falls short. The source of many complaints begins with a poor communication from the agent that leads to lack of understanding with the client. This often leads to frustration in the process and more importantly, poor decision-making that can hurt the client. Agents need an additional skill set; the ability to take complex thoughts and synthesize them into understandable concepts, listen deeply to the client, ask questions that reveal information, and structure conversations that reveal wants and needs. Fortunately, the coaching industry has addressed these skills in their core competencies. These competencies transfer directly to the real estate sales industry. In this class, Coaching Skills for Real Estate Professionals, the student is provided a deep dive into 5 key skills responsible for understanding and communication apply those skills through case studies, so they can apply these skills in their business.
